THE KIWI
CLASSICS MUSIC
CALENDAR 2026
A selection of images inspired by the scenery and music of Otautahi (Christchurch) Aotearoa New Zealand. Sold Out
A 2026 Calendar of artwork and short ramblings inspired by the music and scenery of Aotearoa New Zealand (mostly Otautahi / Christchurch). Each artwork and month pays tribute to a classic Kiwi (New Zealand) song accompanied by the scenery that inspired it, or somehow connects it.
Some of the songs I’ve listened to most of my life and others are new. Growing up in NZ, the local songs were just as everywhere as the bigger international songs. But the kiwi songs always felt more personal and seemed to linger longer. I love that the country embraced these songs and made them front and centre landmarks of the culture.
I hope you enjoy these pictures and check out or rediscover some of these classic songs.
